اِشْتَرَى / يَشْتَرِي (ishtarā / yashtarī) means "to to buy" in Arabic. Simplest present: أنا (ana) أَشْتَرِي (ashtarī), أنتَ (anta) تَشْتَرِي (tashtarī), أنتِ (anti) تَشْتَرِين (tashtarīn), هو (huwa) يَشْتَرِي (yashtarī), هي (hiya) تَشْتَرِي (tashtarī), نحن (naḥnu) نَشْتَرِي (nashtarī). Below: all 3 tenses we teach, with examples.
Add a prefix (a-, ta-, ya-, na-) and for 'you (f.)' and the plurals a suffix (-īn, -ūn) to the present stem -ktub. It covers 'I write', 'I am writing' and 'I write every day'; the final -u of formal Arabic is dropped in speech.
