doći means "to come" in Croatian. Simplest present: ja dođem, ti dođeš, on / ona / ono dođe, mi dođemo, vi dođete, oni / one / ona dođu. Below: all 3 tenses we teach, with examples.
Drop -ti from the infinitive and add -m, -š, -Ø, -mo, -te, -e/-ju to the stem. This one form covers both 'I do' and 'I am doing'.
| ja | dođem |
| ti | dođeš |
| on / ona / ono | dođe |
| mi | dođemo |
| vi | dođete |
| oni / one / ona | dođu |
Use the short present of 'biti' (sam, si, je, smo, ste, su) with the main verb's l-participle, which agrees with the subject's gender in the singular.
| ja | došao sam / došla sam |
| ti | došao si / došla si |
| on / ona / ono | došao je / došla je / došlo je |
| mi | došli smo |
| vi | došli ste |
| oni / one / ona | došli su |
Add the short present of 'htjeti' (ću, ćeš, će, ćemo, ćete, će) after the infinitive; for -ti verbs the -i is dropped when written together as one unit (radit ću).
| ja | doći ću |
| ti | doći ćeš |
| on / ona / ono | doći će |
| mi | doći ćemo |
| vi | doći ćete |
| oni / one / ona | doći će |
| Dolazim sutra. | I'm coming tomorrow. |
| Došli smo prekasno. | We came too late. |
