ići means "to go" in Croatian. Simplest present: ja idem, ti ideš, on / ona / ono ide, mi idemo, vi idete, oni / one / ona idu. Below: all 3 tenses we teach, with examples.
Drop -ti from the infinitive and add -m, -š, -Ø, -mo, -te, -e/-ju to the stem. This one form covers both 'I do' and 'I am doing'.
| ja | idem |
| ti | ideš |
| on / ona / ono | ide |
| mi | idemo |
| vi | idete |
| oni / one / ona | idu |
Use the short present of 'biti' (sam, si, je, smo, ste, su) with the main verb's l-participle, which agrees with the subject's gender in the singular.
| ja | išao sam / išla sam |
| ti | išao si / išla si |
| on / ona / ono | išao je / išla je / išlo je |
| mi | išli smo |
| vi | išli ste |
| oni / one / ona | išli su |
Add the short present of 'htjeti' (ću, ćeš, će, ćemo, ćete, će) after the infinitive; for -ti verbs the -i is dropped when written together as one unit (radit ću).
| ja | ići ću |
| ti | ići ćeš |
| on / ona / ono | ići će |
| mi | ići ćemo |
| vi | ići ćete |
| oni / one / ona | ići će |
| Idem na plažu. | I am going to the beach. |
| Sutra idemo u muzej. | Tomorrow we are going to the museum. |
