naći means "to find" in Croatian. Simplest present: ja nađem, ti nađeš, on / ona / ono nađe, mi nađemo, vi nađete, oni / one / ona nađu. Below: all 3 tenses we teach, with examples.
Drop -ti from the infinitive and add -m, -š, -Ø, -mo, -te, -e/-ju to the stem. This one form covers both 'I do' and 'I am doing'.
| ja | nađem |
| ti | nađeš |
| on / ona / ono | nađe |
| mi | nađemo |
| vi | nađete |
| oni / one / ona | nađu |
Use the short present of 'biti' (sam, si, je, smo, ste, su) with the main verb's l-participle, which agrees with the subject's gender in the singular.
| ja | našao sam / našla sam |
| ti | našao si / našla si |
| on / ona / ono | našao je / našla je / našlo je |
| mi | našli smo |
| vi | našli ste |
| oni / one / ona | našli su |
Add the short present of 'htjeti' (ću, ćeš, će, ćemo, ćete, će) after the infinitive; for -ti verbs the -i is dropped when written together as one unit (radit ću).
| ja | naći ću |
| ti | naći ćeš |
| on / ona / ono | naći će |
| mi | naći ćemo |
| vi | naći ćete |
| oni / one / ona | naći će |
| Ne mogu naći hotel. | I can't find the hotel. |
| Naći ćemo dobar restoran. | We will find a good restaurant. |
