comprare means "to buy" in Italian. Simplest present: io compro, tu compri, lui / lei / Lei compra, noi compriamo, voi comprate, loro comprano. Below: all 3 tenses we teach, with examples.
Drop -are and add -o, -i, -a, -iamo, -ate, -ano. Used for facts, habits, what you are doing now and often for the near future.
| io | compro |
| tu | compri |
| lui / lei / Lei | compra |
| noi | compriamo |
| voi | comprate |
| loro | comprano |
Passato prossimo: present of avere plus the past participle (parlato). Movement and change verbs use essere instead, and then the participle agrees (sono arrivato / arrivata).
| io | ho comprato |
| tu | hai comprato |
| lui / lei / Lei | ha comprato |
| noi | abbiamo comprato |
| voi | avete comprato |
| loro | hanno comprato |
For plans, Italians mostly use the present plus a time word: domani parto (tomorrow I leave). The futuro semplice drops the final -e of the infinitive (-are becomes -er-) and adds -ò, -ai, -à, -emo, -ete, -anno.
| io | comprerò |
| tu | comprerai |
| lui / lei / Lei | comprerà |
| noi | compreremo |
| voi | comprerete |
| loro | compreranno |
