Canadian citizens don't need a visa for Portugal for stays of up to 90 days in any 180 days (Schengen).
No visa needed
Border officers register fingerprints and a photo under the EU Entry/Exit System (fully running since 10 Apr 2026). ETIAS is not required yet: the EU says it is scheduled to start in the last quarter of 2026 and will announce the exact date later.
