Japanese citizens don't need a visa for China for stays of up to 30 days.

Visa-free for up to 30 days (business, tourism, visiting family or friends, exchange, transit) until 31 Dec 2026. You can fill in the arrival card online before you arrive; otherwise do it on arrival.
