Indian citizens need a visa from an embassy or consulate to visit South Korea.
Visa needed from an embassy or consulate
Indian citizens apply for a Korean short-term visitor visa (C-3-9 for tourism) at the VFS Global Korean Visa Application Centre in New Delhi or Kolkata, or the centres for Mumbai and Chennai. A tourist visa is a single-entry visa valid for 3 months, allowing up to 90 days from the date of entry. The Embassy revised visa fees from 1 Aug 2026, so check the fee before you pay.
Checked 13 Oct 2026 against the official page: overseas.mofa.go.kr
Rules change: always confirm on the official government site or with the embassy before you book.
Emergency numbers, plugs, health, apps, customs and the phrases you need, on two pages you can save or print.
