No visa needed
K-ETA is waived for German passports until 31 Dec 2026. Without it you fill in the arrival card; if you apply for K-ETA anyway it costs KRW 10,000 (about US$7–8) and spares you the arrival card.
Checked 13 Oct 2026 against the official page: k-eta.go.kr
Rules change: always confirm on the official government site or with the embassy before you book.
Emergency numbers, plugs, health, apps, customs and the phrases you need, on two pages you can save or print.
