German citizens don't need a visa for Thailand for stays of up to 30 days.
No visa needed
Fill in the free Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online 3 days before you arrive. The visa-free stay for Germans is 30 days for tourism (it was 60 days before the 2026 revision); you cannot work.
