French citizens don't need a visa for Mexico for stays of up to Up to 180 days.
No visa needed
No visa is needed for tourism with a valid French passport, but you cannot do paid work. The 2026 visitor fee (DNR) is MXN 983, payable by card, at a bank counter or online.
